Private Health Insurance

Private health insurance companies each have their own policies which they change with little to no notice to training providers and therefore not all remedial massage therapists have a provider number with every single company. I studied part time so changes affected me and I was unable to get a Medibank provider number. I have provider numbers with the following companies for remedial massage:

Claiming is Easy

I provide an official receipt and most companies allow you to claim online. I cannot to HICAPS because I didn’t get a Medibank provider number.

Mobile Massage

Please check with your health insurance fund if they provide rebates for mobile massage. The receipt will indicate that it was a mobile massage.

Payment Methods

Payment methods include cash, bank transfer or credit card

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer - due at the time of your appointment - you can send me a receipt or show me confirmation of payment. Please use your name as the reference.

  • Card - I prefer cash or bank transfer, however if you prefer you can pay by card.


  • Note: When booking online you may notice it asks for your credit card. Your credit card is not charged - it is to ensure your booking is genuine. It may be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy if you fail to give the minimum notice to reschedule/cancel.

Consultation and Late Policy

  • I do not have a waiting room and I run my sessions on time. I need some time to clean between clients, air the room, take a break etc, so if you arrive more than 5 minutes early, please wait outside.

  • If you arrive late you will be charged for the full treatment time but you may only receive the remaining time of your appointment.

  • Clients with cancer seeking an oncology massage: please come with a list of medical interventions you have had (e.g. radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgeries), the dates of the treatments, oncologist names, and any medication you are on or have had for your cancer treatment. This will ensure the consultation doesn’t take too much of your massage time.

Cancellation Policy

Please honour my time as I honour yours, and aim to provide at least 48 hours advance notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. This allows someone else the chance to book in your place. I understand circumstances outside of your control can arise, and I appreciate early notification if you need to change your appointment time.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Failure to give a minimum of 24 hours notice may incur a fee of 50% of the treatment booked.

  • No Shows - when you don’t show up the full fee applies

  • If you give short notice - the full fee applies (e.g. less than 6 hours notice)

If there is a pattern of late cancellations, then you will no longer be accepted as a client.

Health Policy

  • If you make an appointment you are confirming that you are currently not experiencing any viral illness; and that you will cancel your appointment in accordance with my cancellation policy if you do become ill.

  • If you are showing signs of cold/flu or other infectious illness please reschedule your appointment by calling: 0433 523 678. Please do not cancel / reschedule via email.

  • Please remember to give advanced notice - the cancellation policy and fee still apply. So if you suspect you are becoming ill, please endeavour to give minimum 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • You are not permitted entry to the clinic if you are infectious to protect me and my clients.

  • You may send someone else in your place if you become ill on the day and you know a healthy friend or relative who would appreciate a massage and agree to take your place and pay (you can gift them the session by transferring the money and sending me a payment receipt). Just send me a text message with their details to arrange.

Gift Certificates

I no longer offer gift certificates. The reason for this is I have found most people take a long time to use them and the government requires the expiry date to be a minimum of 3 years. This requirement does not suit my small business.

The alternative is to talk to your loved one, and ask them to book in a massage at their convenience and offer to pay for them. This is an arrangement between you and your loved one. You can either give them cash, or once they have booked themselves in send me a message to let me know you are paying for them and you can pay via bank transfer. And if it is your partner’s birthday, why not book them in for a surprise massage and send them with an envelope with the cash to pay for it on the day?!
